Commissioned UVIa Mission Logo

This project was a commissioned piece by the Hoadley UV Space Lab (HUSL) at the University of Iowa. I had previously worked with an astronomy professor, Keri Hoadley, on a past project, so she commissioned me to create a logo for a mission proposal they were submitting to NASA. The mission was to build and launch a satellite to gather information and study the UV light of Type Ia supernovae. This logo was created within Illustrator and designed with the intent of it pairing stylistically with the logo of a prior mission of Professor Hoadley.
