Poster For a Cause

I’m proud of the quality of the final product especially since this was a GDI level project, completed in my first college graphic design class. Entirely created in Illustrator, this project was a challenge at the time, due to my minimal experience using Illustrator to draw. The project was to design a poster around a cause of our choice with a call to action. Further, we needed to select an organization that supports our cause, and design the poster in line with the organization’s objectives. The cause I chose was invertebrate conservation and the organization I selected was Xerces Society. The design was based off of Nintendo’s game: Animal Crossing. In the poster, the character Flick is specifically referenced as he is Animal Crossing’s resident bug enthusiast.
